The Anarchy of Thought

Charity begins at home. Perhaps. But then so does the long revolution against the Establishment.

But Just For Once Posted by Hello

Once
But just for once
I had touched
The brittle sky
And let its pallid wealth
Sink into my tired bones.
But that with time
We have both
Grown an eternity old
I now wish
That for once
But just for once
I could paint
The anguished face
Of your unblemished youth.

    Once
    But just for once
    I wish to touch
    This brillient brain
    And let its pious peace
    Sink into my fragile heart.

    I wish to comment
    On this forgotten aspiration
    And let its silent whispers
    Flow through my ironic replies.

Well, now you have overdone it. It has become :

    Twice
    But just for twice...

What did I overdo? Have I touched your brain? and that also twice???

Unfortunately, my brain falls into the Untouchable category; that is because it lies outside the four Hindu castes. Otherwise, what you have overdone can be summarised in the form of this (somewhat) cryptic maxim : 'Those who wish to recommend the virtue of Silence should take care not to write a 1000-page book on it.'

ohhh!! Unfortunately you took it quite seriously though you are trying to deny.....but hey, try to believe me the first comment (though I borrowed your format of writing...I appologise for that...though there is no question of copyright (copy write)...:-))
And the second comment was just a smile for your reply on my comment..:-):-)

My first comment was just a compliment (not a complement):-)!!

Yes, yes. But you don't need to apologise for anything on this blog. In fact, that is one good thing about it: you never need to apologise for your irony.

I did not apologise for my irony but for borrowing your style of writing for my irony

Yes, yes. But you should never apologise for anything at all. If you apologise, it is a sign of weakness; and a student of Vedanta can never afford to be weak.

    Yes Boss!!

By the way, how can you predict that I am a student of vedanta?.....did you find any sign of it?

It was not a prediction, but a deduction from your repeated apologising. Only students of Vedanta apologise in this obsessive manner. Which is why they got run over by the British once; now, of course, they are being over-run by the Americans.

What a strong assertion!! Is there any evidence?

In true Vedantic style, this is a statement that is self-evidential, self-certifying, self-luminous, and self-transparent (svayam-prakasata-).

It seems you are a true student/practioner of vedanta....
